Contractor platform terms
These terms govern contractor applications, accounts, marketplace eligibility, and use of BLDPRO workflow software.
Business relationship
The contractor is an independent business, not an employee, agent, joint venturer, franchisee, or construction subcontractor of BLDPRO, Inc., a Delaware corporation. The contractor controls its means and methods, personnel, scheduling, scope, pricing inputs, permits, legal compliance, workmanship, and warranties.
Construction agreements
The contractor contracts directly with the homeowner for construction work. BLDPRO provides marketplace and workflow technology and is not a party to the construction agreement. The contractor is responsible for giving the homeowner required contracts, notices, disclosures, cancellation rights, and warranty terms.
Application and eligibility
An application is not approval or an active account. Marketplace eligibility may require reviewed services and service areas, current credential evidence where required, accepted agreement terms, account standing, declared availability, capacity, and an active entitlement. BLDPRO may suspend eligibility when those requirements are not satisfied.
Software and pricing
BLDPRO contractor software is $249 per month. The platform fee ranges from 22% down to 8.99% as the contractor-entered project base increases. The exact dollar fee is shown before the estimate is sent. Applying does not create a charge, and any paid subscription requires a separate authorized transaction.
Customer and project information
Contractors may use customer information only to evaluate, coordinate, and perform the applicable project and to meet legal obligations. Contractors must protect account access, restrict team permissions, avoid exporting information without a business need, and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
Estimates, records, and communications
The contractor is responsible for accurate scope, quantities, pricing inputs, customer communications, project status, change documentation, completion records, and invoice information. BLDPRO may retain immutable workflow and acceptance evidence for security, dispute, and compliance purposes.
Acceptable use and suspension
Contractors may not misuse customer data, misrepresent credentials, evade platform controls, interfere with security, submit deceptive records, or use another contractor’s account. BLDPRO may restrict or suspend access to protect customers, contractors, data, or the platform.
